Governor Haslam signed into law the Workers’ Compensation Reform Bill (Public Chapter 289) on April 29, 2013. The law represents the most sweeping reforms of Tennessee’s workers’ compensation system in many years. The law will affect dramatic change in the way all workers’ compensation claims are handled, without exception.
