It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Charles W. "Buz" Dooley on December 2, 2017. He was very devoted to providing quality representation for his clients, but perhaps will best be remembered for his pro bono work in the community. Please keep the Dooley family in your prayers.

Mr. Dooley has been frequently invited to present seminars on Tennessee Workers' Compensation and liability law to employers, human resource professionals, and insurance adjusters all over the United States, and began seminar activity when invited to present his Workers' Compensation in Tennessee" overview to the National Business Institute in 1988 and 1989. He is also the author of the Tennessee chapter of the American Law Firm Association's bi-annual Workers' Compesnation Law: A State-by-State Analysis since 2000.
Mr. Dooley was recently inducted into the Legal Aid of East Tennessee Inaugural Pro Bono Attorneys Hall of Fame. In 2014, He was presented the Harris Gilbert Pro Bono Volunteer of the Year Award. In 2015, He was presented the Albert L. Hodge Volunteer Award by the Chattanooga Bar Association.
