Ms. Ball is a Member in the firm's Knoxville office. While in law school, she participated in numerous activities, including Mock Trial and Law Review. She also worked as a law clerk in the State of Tennessee Office of the Attorney General in the Environmental Division. She has practiced with the firm since graduating from law school in 2001 and has been a Member of the firm since 2008.
Representative Client Work
Ms. Ball's practice focuses primarily on civil litigation and insurance defense, with an emphasis on defending individuals and businesses in cases involving workers' compensation, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, products liability, and various other types of personal injury claims.
Ms. Ball has extensive experience defending workers' compensation claims with a significant motion and trial practice, as well as appeallate arguments on issues of notice of injury, causation, last injurious exposure, and statute of limitations defenses. She likewise represents clients at the administrative level by handling claims and obtaining resolution through the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
Ms. Ball also maintains an active practice in general civil liability defense work. She has most recently argued an issue of first impression in defense of an auto liability personal injury case before the Tennessee Supreme Court which resulted in dismissal of the case.
