Mike has represented corporations, insurers and individuals in State and Federal Courts for 25 years. He has been certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy for over a decade and handles cases throughout Tennessee and the South.
Mr. Newton’s substantial litigation experience includes motor vehicle claims, from catastrophic injuries to minor impact and questionable causation cases; premises liability claims, including security/criminal acts, dram shop, slip and fall, elevators/escalators/automatic doors, false imprisonment, and falling products; subrogation claims; insurance broker/agent liability; workers’ compensation claims; fire loss claims; and, asbestos defense.
