Nancy Steer is an associate in the Nashville office whose practice focuses primarily on general civil litigation.
Nancy earned her J.D. in 2014 from Belmont University College of Law. As a member of the Charter Class, Nancy served as the founding Managing Editor of the Belmont Law Review from 2012 to 2014. She was also a member of the Belmont Board of Advocates, where she participated in an international arbitration competition. Additionally, Nancy served as the Secretary of Belmont’s Health Law Society.
Graduating magna cum laude from Austin Peay State University, Nancy majored in philosophy and minored in religious studies. She was the recipient of the Nathan Dempsey Outstanding Achievement in Philosophy scholarship and was the President of Austin Peay’s philosophy club. While at Austin Peay, Nancy’s article, “A Substantive Revision to Firth’s Ideal Observer Theory,” was published in Stance, an international philosophy journal.
