Mr. Carden is an Associate in the Chattanooga office. Mr. Carden's practice emphasizes civil defense litigation concerning workers' compensation, personal injury (trucking industry, automobile accidents, railroad accidents, premises liability), construction litigation and railroad litigation (FELA).
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Carden practiced law at a firm specializing in insurance defense; he brings a wealth of experience successfully handling a broad array of insurance defense litigation matters.
Mr. Carden is a Chattanooga native, and a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Chattanooga. Outside the office, Mr. Carden enjoys mountain biking and trail running on the trails in and around his hometown.
Defense verdict for clients in $25 million wrongful death suit with negligence and dram shop theory causes of action.
Obtained summary judgment for client in suit to recover attorneys' fees and workers' compensation benefits paid to claimant pursuant to statutory employer provision of the Tennessee Code Annotated.
