Employee Injured While Leaving Premises- Is it Compensable?

Just because you tell your boss , “Take this job and shove it”, an injury sustained while leaving the premises could still be compensable. Employee tells boss she quits and as she is leaving, she is injured in a slip and fall. Court ruled even though employee quit, the employee is allowed a reasonable time to terminate the employment relationship.
