Overstreet v. TRW Commercial Steering Division Oct 2008
In Overstreet v. TRW Commercial Steering Division, 256 S.W.3d 626 (Tenn. 2008), the Tennessee Supreme Court analyzed issues involving the ability of an employer to independently interview an employee's treating physician in a workers’ compensation case. The Court held that an employer may not conduct an ex parte interview of an employee's physician.
